Understanding the Command Line
With this command line we have modified (mod) the path (pa)
eth/lan01 and changed the ospf-support parameter (ospf-s) to
ospf2.
The prompt changes to show that we are now in the path/eth/
lan01# object and that the changes we have made need to be
saved. Put this parameter back to its default of none by typing the
following:
ospf-s none
[Save] path/eth/lan01#
Since we are already in the path/eth/lan01# object, there is no
need to type all the command line again; instead we just type the
information we need. Save these changes.
To return to the box# prompt, type bo at any command line (not
the bcc> prompt; from here you must type co to enter config
mode). To exit the config mode altogether, type exit at any
prompt to return to the bcc> mode. To exit bcc> mode and close
this session, type exit at the bcc> prompt.
Note:
Closing a Telnet session to a router does not close the
router down.
Caution:
It is important that you do not just close your Telnet
session, you should also exit the BCC itself. If you close Telnet
without exiting the BCC and, for example, the mgr-timeout
parameter in the system# object is set to 0, the object you are
editing appears as read only in subsequesnt sessions.
