NauticaRS 5.5R Reference Guide
2-6
bcc> co sy i
where i is the MTD for the info verb (Appendix A).
Note:
There are a lot of system# parameters. Press the space
bar to complete the list if prompted to do so.
The command line prompt now reads system# again. Type exit to
move back to the bcc> prompt.
Parameters also have MTDs, and the parameters, as well as their
values can be set by typing the MTDs on one command line. For
example, to change the mgr-timeout parameter in the system#
object, type the following at the bcc> prompt:
bcc> co sy mgr 0
In this command, BCC moves into config mode (co), changes to
the system# object (sy), selects the mgr-timeout parameter (mgr)
and sets it to 0, turning the parameter off.
For more information on mgr-timeout and the other system#
object parameters, refer to Chapter 5.
When you change an object or one of its parameters, the prompt
changes to remind you of this. Currently the prompt reads:
[Save] system#
There is no MTD for the save verb (as with exit). To save the
change we have made, type save at the prompt.
For more information about the save verb, refer to Appendix A.
Command entries do not have to be run from the bcc> prompt;
they can be entered anywhere. For example, at the system#
prompt, type the following:
mod pa eth/lan01 ospf-s ospf2
system#
117237-E Rev.00
