This operation uses the Trivial File Transfer Protocol
(TFTP) over IP. The router must be on the same subnet
as the PC running Nautica Wizard.
Note:
When restoring the configuration from a file, Nautica
Wizard extracts the IP address from the file and configures the
unit via a special protocol. After this initial step, the rest of the
configuration is loaded into the unit via TFTP. TFTP requires
that the PC and the unit are in the same subnet otherwise
communication cannot be established.
Using a Terminal Window: If Nautica Wizard is not
available, the configuration file can be restored from a
Terminal Window. To restore the configuration in this
manner, use a Telnet session (over the Ethernet) or
connect directly into the Manager port of the router.
