Callback numbers to be supplied to a user requesting
additional bandwidth via Bandwidth Allocation Control
Protocol (BACP).
When you place a call to a remote unit and download
information, there are times when you will need extra
bandwidth to receive the volume of data requested. In
these instances, the remote unit will supply you with a
callback number which your unit will dial to receive
extra bandwidth.
Similarly, a remote user may download information
from your network and need to receive this information
faster. In these cases you will supply that user with a
number to call back to set extra bandwidth.
The numbers entered in this parameter are the numbers
you will supply to a user asking for additional
bandwidth. These numbers are lines on which extra data
can be sent.
For more information on callbacks, refer to
Note:
When BACP is in use, the originator of the link is
responsible for bringing up extra bandwidth channels.
