Each IP client on the stub network needs to have an entry in this
table. You can add several addresses here.
Specify the IP addresses of the cul-de-sac routes you want to add
using the 000.000.000.000 format.
When you have specified all the cul-de-sac addresses, press enter
on a blank address line to move on to the next step of Quick
Setup.
Internet Protocol Extended (IPX) is a protocol used by Novell to
route information across their networks. If you are using a Novell
network you should answer y to this question; otherwise leave it
at the default of n.
To use IPX routing, refer to
Answering n to the IPX question brings up the next setup
question:
Point to Point Protocol (PPP) is the standard protocol used to
communicate between routers. Unless you know that you need to
use another protocol, like frame relay, for example, leave this at
the default of n.
Otherwise, change this to y and press enter.
Note:
If you do not select PPP as the protocol, when Quick
Setup is complete, a path is created using the Nautica protocol.
