One or 2 power supplies can be used in the SWT 3000 system. They are decoupled via diodes on the back-
plane. In order to detect failure of a power supply unit, the PU4 module monitors the output voltages from
power supplies PS-1 and PS-2. The interface modules are supplied via PU4.
