Redundancy
The EN100 communication module supports several operating modes Line, RSTP, PRP, HSR and OSM. This
allows integrating a SWT 3000 device into nearly all network structures. Redundancy is important for the relia-
bility of an entire communications system. If the link of the active channel is interrupted, switchover to the
other interface is automatic. If all channels are interrupted, SWT 3000 device will report a non-urgent alarm
(EN100_QUAL: EN100 communication quality is not OK).
MergeTool provides following setting file which enables different redundancy settings.
