With each connection between the service program PowerSys and the device a compatibility check of
PowerSys version and device data is performed.

In case of mismatching versions the PowerSys update screen is activated. Carry out the update to store the
new version information in the SWT 3000 system, refer to
If the PowerSys version is incompatible with the version stored in the SWT 3000 the PowerSys connection is
not established. Check the version information of PowerSys and device as displayed in the error screen and
connect with a compatible PowerSys program version.
PowerSys does not connect to non-supported devices. E.g. the connection to a SWT 3000 system with PU3
processing unit is not possible with the program version P3.5.x of PowerSys.

The SWT 3000 > Firmware-overview menu is only online available (when connected to SWT 3000).
With the Firmware-overview menu, you can check if the FW release of the device (Actual) corresponds with
the FW release of the connected service program PowerSys (Target).
