7. Rotate the cube 180 degrees and then replace the cube in the drawer. The correct voltage
setting should display in the window on the bottom of the fuse drawer.
8. Replace the fuse with a new one that is appropriate for the selected voltage. See Verifying
the Power Supply and Fuse.
9. Slide the fuse drawer back into the fuse compartment until it locks in place.
10. Connect the power cord to the wall outlet.
11. Turn on the main power switch on the Peltier unit back panel.
If the unit does not perform normally or if the replacement fuse blows, contact technical
support.

Preinstallation
It is necessary to connect the cell holder to a water pump or fluid recirculator and to the
temperature controller.

NOTICE Avoid damage to the cell block. Do not operate the accessory without a water
pump or fluid recirculator.
NOTICE Avoid damage to the electronics. Do not connect or disconnect cables while the
accessory is powered on.
Use only 12.5 mm (10 mm pathlength) square cuvettes with this accessory. Use at least 3 ml
of solution for the analysis.
Before starting the accessory, familiarize yourself with the software features described in
Operation. To agitate the sample during the measurement, place a magnetic stirrer in the
cuvette and use the software to set the stirring speed.
