Installation
6.1 Unpacking
Are the shock sensors red?
If a shipment is received in visibly damaged condition (i.e.
the shock sensors indicate that the goods have been han-
dled inappropriately in transit), be certain to make a notation
on the delivering carrier's receipt and have his agent confirm
the damage on your receipt. Otherwise, the damage claim
may be refused.
Remove the transport lock!
If concealed damage or pilferage is discovered, notify the
carrier immediately and retain the entire shipment intact for
inspection.
Before returning the device:
Inform the vendor (minor damage can often be rectified on
site). Subject to authorization by Thermo Fisher Scientific,
the goods are to be returned franco domicile.
