Running Performance Verification Tests

The pass/fail limits are based on the instrument specification and any other tolerances
associated with the Certified Reference Material (CRM). The software stores all tolerances
and any instrument pass/fail limits with the calibration data and reports these values as
appropriate.

Before using the CVC, mount the CVC carousel on the base unit and install the accessory in
the spectrophotometer. See
Complete CVC in the
Instrument.
If using this CVC for the first time, load the calibration data. See
Data.
The CVC performance tests appear only when the CVC is properly installed and a valid
calibration file has been loaded.
Note If you are running security software, you can perform performance verification tests
only if you have been given the right to do so by the system administrator.
To run CVC performance verification tests
1. Click Performance Verification in Home.
The available tests appear in the right pane.
