To clean the nanoCell
1. Remove the cap from the nanoCell.
2. Use a pipette to remove the excess sample from the sample loading area on the top of the
nanoCell.
3. Use a lint-free laboratory tissue, lint-free lens tissue, or microfiber cloth to wipe excess
liquid from the sample loading area and the mirror in the lid.
Pressurized air can be used to remove lint or dust as necessary.
4. If desired, a suitable solvent such as methanol, ethanol, or isopropanol can be added to
the cleaning process.
Apply the solvent to a laboratory tissue and wipe the sample loading surface. Never add
the solvent directly to the sample loading surface.
NOTICE Never submerge any portion of the nanoCell in liquid.
NOTICE Do not use strong acids and bases or any of the following solvents with the
nanoCell: ethylamine, diethylene triamine, methylene chloride, and phosphoric acid.
