We provide two kinds of pump tubing with the Smart Sipper: silicone rubber (Standard
Tubing Pack) and Viton® (Acid Tubing Pack).
Verify tubing size and sample compatibility prior to installation. See Specifications.
CAUTION Avoid pinch hazard. Do not install pump tubing while the instrument is
powered on.

To install pump tubing
1. Remove the Smart Sipper from the spectrophotometer or turn off the spectrophotometer
main power switch.
2. Cut an 18 cm length of pump tubing.
3. Taking care not to stretch, slacken or twist the tubing, feed it counterclockwise around
the track while manually rotating the pump head.
