IQ DISPLAY MODULE (IQDM) SERIES 2 AND
IQDM-P DIAGNOSTICS
The following faults can be detected within the handset:

Fault History
This menu displays any faults that have been detected within the handset itself.
Clear Fault History
The clear fault history function will erase the history of handset faults that are stored in the handset.

INFORMATION

This menu selection displays information pertaining to the handset. The information provided in this menu selection
includes model number, serial number, the date the handset was manufactured, the handset software version, etc.

IQDM AND IQDM-P HANDSET TROUBLESHOOTING

In the event that the handset does not function as described in this manual, the following troubleshooting guide
should be studied and the referenced test procedures should be performed to troubleshoot the IQDM and IQDM-P
Series 2 handsets.

Time Out error detect - no response from controller
Communication error with controller
Error in handset

Security lockout on program menu
POSSIBLE CAUSES
Handset cord and/or adaptor is disconnected
Vehicle batteries – loose terminals or corrosion
Vehicle batteries – improperly wired
Vehicle batteries – batteries failed
Vehicle batteries – batteries not fully charged
Handset cord has failed
Handset cord adaptor has failed
IQDM jack (on vehicle) has failed
Contrast Setting is too light
Onboard computer is in power-down mode
