Fault messages
The following applies with regard to all displayed fault messages:

Check mains power cable connection
◗
Check (and where necessary clean) connector of the relevant or displayed components.
◗
Check the connector cable for blockages/short-circuits (where necessary replace connector cable).
◗
Check wiring of relevant or displayed components (e.g. for cable breaks).
◗
Restart the S5 system (i.e. the pump).
For persistent fault messages, please refer to the following section for information on further steps to
take:

Steps to be taken (please proceed in the order listed)
A fault has been detected during the self-test.
The pump fails to switch itself off (e. g. ramp-up) (in this case:
pump 1).

where necessary send pump to manufacturer for checking
The pump ran in the wrong direction (without having been
instructed to do so).

Send pump to manufacturer for checking.
The pump ran too fast (without being instructed to do so).

Send pump to manufacturer for checking.
A safety feature of the pump has failed.
