S5 System • Replacing components
Removal of the CPU B 4 circuit board is necessary in the following cases:
– To replace this circuit board
– In order to gain access to the Inverter B 39 circuit board and keys and LEDs B 42 located underneath
it
– To replace the shaft encoder

Carefully lay the touch screen down with the display surface facing downwards on a soft, flat work
surface. Take care not to scratch the screen.

Loosen the connectors
– Connection inverter B 28
– Connection shaft encoder B 32
– Connection LCD B 36
– Connection touch screen B 35
