Switching between Japanese and English

You can switch between Japanese and English for displaying the function names or messages on the screen.

When the FOMA card is inserted, the "Select language" setting is stored on the FOMA card (UIM).
You can switch announcement language between Japanese and English for outgoing and incoming
calls in some announcements. →P.332
<Initial setting>

Setting the Default

Turn the FOMA terminal on and you can set "Set time", "Change security code" and "Keypad sound" as initial
value.
● After you set a function, that function's setting screen is no longer displayed.
● After you set all functions, the initial setting screen is no longer displayed. The initial settings screen also does not
appear even if you run "Reset" when the initial settings screen is not shown.
● When "PIN1 code entry set" is set to "ON", the PIN1 code entry screen appears when you turn the FOMA terminal
on. Enter the correct PIN1 code to display the initial setting screen.→ P.140

have been completed remain valid.
You can also specify the settings for individual functions separately.
Confirmation message about updating software appears even when you canceled the initial setting.
