Release PIN Lock
If you enter your PIN1 code or PIN2 code incorrectly 3 times in a row, you must unlock the locked PIN1 code or
PIN2 code then set a new PIN1 code or PIN2 code.
<Example: To unlock your PIN1 code>

Lock Functions
To prevent others from using your FOMA terminal
To prevent others from viewing data in your "Phonebook" or "Schedule" by
setting them not to be displayed
To prevent others from viewing images or mails by setting them not to be
displayed
To prevent others from viewing or altering your personal information
To prevent inadvertent use of the side keys
To prevent making calls to phone numbers which are not stored in your
"Phonebook"
To prevent others from viewing records of your incoming and outgoing calls
To use the FOMA terminal without worrying about incoming voice or
videophone calls

Preventing Others From Using Your Terminal
You can set All lock either using the FOMA terminal or by the remote operation.
● Turning the FOMA terminal off does not cancel All lock.
● When All lock is set
● All functions cannot be used except for the following operations and functions:
・Turning the FOMA terminal on or off
・Calling emergency numbers (110, 119 or 118)
・Canceling All lock
・Receiving remote observation calls
● You cannot make/receive a voice or videophone call.
● The ring tone does not sound when the FOMA terminal receives voice or videophone calls. Once All lock is
released, the "Missed call" desktop icon appears on the standby screen.
● No alarm notification is given when a time set in "Alarm clock", "Schedule" or "ToDo list" is reached. Once All lock is
released, the "Missed alarm" desktop icon appears on the standby screen.
● You can still receive Message R/F, i-mode mail, SMS or chat mail automatically, but the receiving screen or recep-
tion results screen does not appear. Once All lock is released, the icon for the received message/mail type appears
on the display.
● If there are desktop icons pasted into the screen, setting All lock removes all the icons from the display. Once All
lock is released, the icons reappear.
