Main Functions of the FOMA N702iS
FOMA is the name of DoCoMo's service based on the W-CDMA system approved as one of the
global standards for third-generation mobile telecommunication systems (IMT-2000).
i-mode
i-mode is an online service that you can use to send e-mail as well as using the useful information from the i-mode
menu site (program) and i-mode compatible homepage on the i-mode terminal display.

Videophone/Chara-den
You can talk to the other party while looking at each
other's face. You can also show your surroundings to
the other party by switching to the rear camera. The
FOMA terminal is also compatible with Chara-den
which enables you to show a character instead of the
image of yourself.
You can also switch from voice call to videophone
without ending the call. As you can hear the other
party's voice through speaker by default, you can
start conversation immediately.
i-channel
You can receive graphical information such as news
or weather information. You can receive information
at a set interval, display the telop of the latest
information on the standby display, and display the
channel list by pressing the key for i-channel.
You can also select your favorite channels from the
channel list to receive rich, detailed information. If you
have never subscribed to the i-channel service, free
trial service is available for a certain period of time.

i-αppli/i-αppli DX
You can download various i-αppli programs to utilize
them, or set them on the standby screen. Besides,
i-αppli DX can be linked to the information such as the
phonebook or mail stored in the i-mode terminal.

Deco-mail
You can compose and send expressive mail by
changing the font color, size, or the background color
for the message, or by inserting a Deco-mail picture
or a photo shot with the built-in camera.
As the Deco-mail is compatible with templates, you
can use the format of received Deco-mail or
downloaded Deco-mail to compose a Deco-mail
easily.

Aqua illumination lamps
The 3 illumination lamps flash in turn as if bubbles
came up in a glass when the status of the FOMA
terminal changes.
Besides, by using the FOMA terminal with the
optional desktop holder with the original illumination
function, you can use the FOMA terminal as an
interior item in a dark room.
