Using Multi number

"Multi number"

any item:
Set multi number......Specifies the phone number you
use for ordinary calls.
Basic number ......Sets
subscribed phone number (basic number).
"YES"
Additional number 1・Additional number 2
to call from the registered additional number.
"YES"
*1 : When the name has been changed, the
registered name appears respectively.
Status request ......Checks the current Multi number
settings.
Phone number record
number notified at the subscription of the Multi number
to the FOMA terminal.
Highlight the item to register (or change) the
additional number o(Edit) Enter the name
Enter the additional number
You can enter up to 8 full-pitch or 16 half-pitch
characters for the name and you can enter up to 26
digits for the additional number.

Select ring tone......Sets the ring tone for the received
calls to the additional number 1 and additional number
2 respectively. "Changing the Ring Tone" → P.114

The multi number settings (name, number, ring tone, etc.)
stored on the FOMA terminal may be cleared when the FOMA
card is replaced. In this case, register the settings again.
<Phone number record>
The name appears when you make various settings of the
multi number function or when you select a phone number to
use for each call.

Refer to P.115 for the priority when the ring tone settings are
duplicated.

Edit......Edits the additional number.
Delete this......Deletes one additional number.
Delete all......Deletes all additional numbers.

Switching the phone number for each call
You can switch the phone number each time you
make a call.

Select any item:
Basic Number ......Sets to call from the subscribed
phone number (basic number).
Additional number 1 ・ Additional number 2
to call from the additional number.
*1 ：When the name is changed, registered name appears
respectively on Additional number 1・2.
Cancel number ......Cancels the setting and "Set multi
number" setting is applied.

You can also use the same procedure to switch the phone
number from the function menu of phonebook detail screen,
detail screen of Redial/Dialed calls/Received calls records,
etc.
When you make a call by selecting "Multi number" from the
function menu, some numbers are added at the end of the
other party's phone number you are dialing as follows on the
call screen: "*590#" for basic number, "*591#" for additional
number 1 and "*592#" for additional number 2.
