An i-motion with only an image or an i-motion with a telop cannot be specified as the ring tone.
Some i-motion cannot be specified.
Even if the i-motion can be set as a ring tone, you can no longer set it once you transfer it from PCs or other FOMA terminals to your
own FOMA terminal (including i-motion you have exported once from your own FOMA terminal).
The volume at which the melody is played back during ring tone selection is determined by the setting in "Ring volume". If "Silent" is
set, the melody is not played back.
Some melodies have restrictions so that only a designated part of the melody can be played. When such melodies are set as a ring
tone, only the designated part can be played. → P.288
Depending on the combination of receiving screen, ring tone and precedence setting, either the receiving screen or the ring tone may
revert to the default.
You can use "Call setting w/o ID" to set a ring tone for voice calls when the caller does not provide a caller ID. The ring tone used for
videophone calls when the caller does not provide a caller ID is determined by the "Video-phone" setting in this function.
The ring tone for the packet communication is set to "Alarm 1" when i-motion is set to the ring tone of mails. The special screen
appears when packet communication is received regardless of the incoming screen settings.
When multiple mails or Message R/F are received at the same time, the operation of the ring tone becomes as follows:
