An i-motion with sound only (an i-motion with no video, such as a singer's voice) cannot be specified as the receiving display.
Some i-motion data cannot be specified.
Flash movies can be set in the Select calling disp. /Select receiving disp., but the ring tone used is the tone set in "Select ring tone".
Pre-installed flash movies for the standby screen (Mineral Water 1, Cafe Latte 1, Strawberry Milk 1) cannot be pasted to other screens
than the standby screen.
Even if the i-motion can be set as a ring tone or calling display, you can no longer set it once you transfer it from PCs or other FOMA
terminals to your own FOMA terminal (including i-motion you have exported once from your own FOMA terminal).
You cannot change the melody of the wake-up display (default). The volume set in the "Phone" in the "Ring volume" setting is used. (If
"Phone" is set to "Step", melodies are played at the volume of "Level 2".) To stop the melody, press any key.

Changing the Standby screen image

If there is a movie or i-motion set in the standby screen, the movie or i-motion is played when you open the FOMA terminal. Press
r, t, y, v, p, o or d to stop playback. When the FOMA terminal is in Manner mode, only the image is played (no
sound). When the playback ends, the first frame of the video clip or i-motion is displayed on the standby screen.
When a flash movie is set as the standby screen, the flash movie is played when the FOMA terminal is opened or when the screen
switches from any other screen to the standby screen (the melody is not played). When the playback is finished, the last flame of the
flash movie is displayed on the standby screen. If you press t or y during playback, the playback is canceled and the flash
image at the point is displayed on the standby screen.
Even if you paste the downloaded flash movie which is compatible with the acceleration sensor to a screen other than the standby
screen, the acceleration sensor is not activated.
When the "i-αppli display" is set, "Calendar", "My picture" and "i-motion" are not displayed even if they are set. To set these, cancel the
"i-αppli display" setting. → P.259
Deleting the image, movie or i-motion that was set to the standby screen restores the standby screen to the default setting.
