●Do not leave the FOMA terminal in
locations where it may be subject to
excessive pressure or weight.
・Do not put the FOMA terminal in a bag filled with
other objects or in the hip pocket of clothing as you sit
down. This may result in faults or damage to the LCD
or other internal components. Such damage is not
covered by the warranty.
●Read the separate manuals supplied with
the battery pack, adapter and charger
carefully.
Handling the FOMA Terminal
●Avoid
using
the
extremely high or low temperatures.
・Use the FOMA terminal within a temperature
range between 5°C and 35°C with humidity
between 45% and 85%.
●It is normal for the FOMA terminal to
become warm while being used or charged.
It is not a malfunction and you can keep on
using.
●Using the FOMA terminal close to home
(landline) phones, TVs or radios may affect
the operation of such equipment. Move as
far as possible away from such devices
before using the FOMA terminal.
●It is the user's responsibility to keep a
separate record of all data stored on your
FOMA terminal.
・Under no circumstances shall NTT DoCoMo be
held liable for any loss or damage to the data
stored on your FOMA terminal.
●Take care not to put the FOMA terminal in
the back pocket of your pants or skirt and
then sit on it. Also, do not put the FOMA
terminal at the bottom of a bag where it
may be subject to excessive pressure or
weight.
・This may cause the FOMA terminal to malfunction.
●Do not put a sticker etc. on the face of the
display or keys.
・This may damage the FOMA terminal or interfere
the operation by pressing keys when the FOMA
terminal is folded.
●Do not scrabble the display with metallic
objects.
・This may cause scratch.
●Hold the FOMA terminal with the strap
wrapping around your wrist.
・This prevents the FOMA terminal falling that may
cause malfunction.
●Do not fold the FOMA terminal with its
strap caught between the folding parts.
・This may cause the FOMA terminal to malfunction
or be damaged.

●Always fit the earphone/microphone socket

・Failing to fit these covers may cause the FOMA
terminal to malfunction due to the dust or water
getting in.
●Do not leave the camera under the direct
sunlight.
・This may discolor or burn the element.
●Do not bring strong magnet close to the
FOMA terminal.
・This may cause the FOMA terminal to malfunction.
Handling the Battery Pack
●The battery pack is consumable.
・If the battery pack does not work for enough time
even when it is fully charged, it is time to exchange
it. Exchange it for a new battery pack with the
same specifications.
●Charge the battery pack within the proper
ambient temperature range (5°C to 35°C).
●Make sure to charge the battery when you
use the FOMA terminal for the first time or if
you have not used it for a long period of time.
●The available operating time of the battery
pack depends on the conditions in which
you use it and the condition of the battery
pack itself.
●When the life of the battery pack is near
end, the battery pack may expand a little
according to the usage condition, but this
is not a malfunction.
●If the metallic segment of the battery pack
is
soiled,
this
connections and loss of power. Wipe the
metallic segment with dry cloth or cotton
bud when it is dirty.
●Do not keep or leave the battery pack
empty.
・The performance and life of the battery pack may
be deteriorated.
・If you do not use the battery pack for a long period
of time, remove the battery pack and keep it in a
cool, dark and dry place. Also, charge the battery
pack supplementarily once a half year.
●Keep the battery pack in a cool and dry
place away from direct sunlight.
・If you do not use the battery pack for a long period
of time, use up the battery, remove the battery
pack from the FOMA terminal or adapter (including
the charger), and keep it in a plastic bag used to
pack the battery pack, etc.
