(FUNC) Select any item:
Switch Chara-den ......Selects a Chara-den character
to change the Chara-den character to record.
Substitute image......Sets the Chara-den character as
the substitute image for videophone calls.
Action list......Displays the Action list. → P.284
action......Changes the Action mode. → P.284
Change
......Sets the display mode for the
Set image disp.
images.
Actual size ......Displays the image in the actual
size.
(default) ......Enlarges the image to
Fit in display
the display size.
Movie mode ⇔ Photo mode
Movie mode and Photo mode.

Numbers in parentheses displayed in the menu is the
size in dots (width x height).

......Sets the movie shooting mode.
Movie type set
(default) ......Records movies with
Video + voice
both images and sound.
Video......Records movies without voice.

duration for the movie shooting.
Normal (default) ......Shoots
standard image quality and duration.
Prefer img qual ......Shoots movies in the higher
image quality. The available shooting time is
shorter than that for Normal.
Prefer time ......Shoots long movies. The image
quality is not as high as that for Normal.
Prefer motion spd
smoother motion.

Storage setting ......Sets the file size for storing the
image of QCIF (176 × 144) or Small (117 × 96).

......Sets the file size for shooting

Restricted (Short)
movies of up to 290K bytes. Select this option to
shoot a standard movie and attach it to i-mode
mail.
Restricted (Long)
up to 490K bytes. Select this option to shoot a
large-sized movie and attach it to i-mode mail.

The shot movie is saved to the Camera folder of i-motion.

If you perform the action while shooting a movie, the keypad
sound may be recorded from the mouthpiece/microphone.
The image size is set to QCIF (176 × 144) only. The size
cannot be changed.
No shooting tone sounds in the following cases:
・ When "Phone" of Ring volume is set to "Silent"
・ When the phone ring volume is set to "Silent" in Manner
mode, etc.
The sound is recorded according to the "Select earphone"
setting when you use an earphone/microphone with switch
(optional).
