・ For the characters assigned in "Numeric input mode", refer to the character assignments for 5-touch input.→ P.363
・ Numeric character candidates are not displayed when you are entering reading to store entries in the UIM phonebook or entering "Own
dictionary" readings.
・ "CapsLock mode" is activated just after switching to "Alphabetic (Full-pitch)" or "Alphabetic (Half-pitch)" mode. The mode switches as
follows each time you press r:
CapsLock mode → Mode cancel→ Shift mode
・ All characters are entered in upper case in "CapsLock mode". In "Shift mode", only the first character is entered in upper case and other
characters are entered in lower case. When these modes are canceled, all characters are entered in lower case.
・ After confirming text in "Shift mode", the mode is canceled.
*1 ： Switches the conversion candidate readings with dakuten "゛" and han-dakuten "゜" during reading input.
*2 ： Just like 5-touch input, "、 ", "。 ", "？", "！", " ・ ", "゛" and "゜" are displayed after readings and characters are confirmed, but the dakuten
" ゛" and han-dakuten "゜" only appear when they are preceded by characters that can take dakuten or han-dakuten. (except for
when the input mode is set to Katakana (half-pitch)).
*3 ： The lower case " ワ " can be entered in full-pitch input mode.
*4 ： Just like 5-touch input, ".", "@", "/", "?", "!", "(", ")", ",", "-", "_", ":", " ' ", "~", " ￣ ", "&" and "￥" are displayed after characters are
confirmed.
