How to View the Illumination Lamps

■ Incoming call lamp during camera mode
When the FOMA terminal is ready to shoot a still image or movie in camera mode, the incoming call lamp
flashes in red (with a period of about 2 seconds). Even in camera mode, the incoming call lamp does not
flash when the function menu is displayed or the FOMA terminal is folded, etc.
The incoming call lamp lights up or flashes as follows when shooting a still image, etc.
・Shooting a still image, shooting continuously ... Lights in red
・Shooting a movie, recording in voice mode...... Flashes in red (with a period of about 1 second)
・When self timer activated ........................... Flashes in blue → P.170
Incoming call lamp
• Flashes in the color set in "Illumination" while receiving a call, mail, or message.
• Keeps on flashing in the color set in "Illumination" when there is a missed call or
new mail (i-mode mail or SMS) with the FOMA terminal folded. However, flashing
color for videophone is set to the same color for "Phone". When there is one
missed call, new mail or new chat mail, the lamp lights up once. When there are
two, the lamp lights up twice. When there are three, the lamp flashes three times.
＜ Flashing color and conditions ＞
• The lamp does not flash when "Missed info" of "Illumination" is set to "OFF".
• The lamp flashes in the default color when gradation is set in "Illumination".
• When the color is set for the caller/sender in the phonebook, the lamp flashes
in the specified color.
• The lamp does not flash in Public mode (Driving mode).
New mail lamp
• The icon flashes when there is a new mail (i-mode mail, chat mail and SMS).
Missed call lamp
• The icon flashes when there is a missed call.
■ To turn off the illumination lamps
To turn off the incoming call lamp, new mail lamp or missed call lamp, check
information by selecting the icons of "Missed call", "New mail" or "New chat mail"
displayed on the screen or press t (1 second or longer).
* The new mail lamp and missed call lamp are also turned off when the FOMA
terminal is switched to "Power saver mode" (P.124) (however, keep on flashing
during charging).
Aqua illumination lamps
• The 3 illumination lamps flash in blue in turn when the status of the FOMA
terminal changes:
When the FOMA terminal is folded
