Making an International Call with the International Dial Function
<International dial>
You can make an international call by adding a country code and IDD prefix code to the phone number.
● You can store the country codes and IDD prefix codes in "Int'l dial setting". → P.58
● You can use the international dial function from the "Phone number input screen" and the detail screens of
"Phonebook/Received calls/Dialed calls/Redial" screens.

The selected country code and IDD prefix code are added. If the area code begins with zero (0), the first zero is
automatically deleted.

When you input the phone number with "+" or the phone number is stored with "+" in the phonebook, "+" is replaced as follows
depending on the "Auto assist setting" of "Int'l dial setting" (P.58).
・ When set to "Auto", "+" is replaced with the IDD prefix code set in "Auto assist setting".
・ When set to "OFF", select the "IDD prefix code". "+" is replaced with the selected IDD prefix code.
Making an international call with easy operation

Country code setting: "アメリカ (United States)" (Country code: 1)
You can change the settings used for international calls and store new country codes. You can set the following
settings:

When you make an overseas call from Japan, the entered "+" is automatically replaced with the IDD prefix code set
in this function.
IDD prefix setting
Stores the IDD prefix name and IDD prefix code used when you make an international call.
Country code setting
Stores the country name and country code used when you make an international call.
● Auto assist setting
Use this procedure to set the Auto assist function for "+" when you make an international call.
