The images in Pre-installed folder can be set to the standby
screen or to the Wake-up display. However, "Mineral Water 1",
"Cafe Latte 1" and "Strawberry Milk 1" cannot be set to other
than the standby screen.
You cannot specify the following images to the screens:
・ Images larger than 640 dots wide × 480 dots high or 480
dots wide × 640 dots high
・ Images which exceed 100K bytes
Some images may not be displayed in the actual sizes,
depending on the sizes or where they are set.
Some images cannot be set to the screens.
<Compose message>
You cannot compose i-mode mail messages when:
・ There are already 20 draft mails stored
・ Flash movie
・ The image is prohibited to be output from your FOMA
terminal
<Add image to PB>
You can add an image which is 100K bytes or smaller and not
larger than 640 dots wide × 480 dots high or 480 dots wide ×
640 dots high.
You cannot add images other than JPEG or GIF.
<Positioning> <Clipping area>
The positioning/clipping area setting is valid for the following
screens (however, the positioning/clipping area setting may
not function depending on the image size):
・ Standby screen, wake-up display
・ Dialing/calling screens of voice or videophone calls
・ Mail sending/receiving/checking
<Edit file name>
You cannot edit the names of the following images:
・ Pre-installed images
・ Still images of file-restricted Chara-den shots
・ Images that is prohibited to be output from your FOMA
terminal
You cannot use half-pitch spaces for file names.
<File restriction>
You cannot restrict the following images:
・ Images other than JPEG or GIF
・ Still images of file-restricted Chara-den shots
<Move>
Images set as the standby screen ,etc. using Set as display
cannot be moved to the Deco-mail picture folder.
<Delete this> <Delete all>
The pre-installed images cannot be deleted.
If you try to delete an image that has been set to a screen or
original animation or set as a user icon for Schedule, a
message appears asking whether to delete the image. If you
delete the image, the corresponding feature (screen, etc.)
changes as follows:
・ The screens restore to the default.
・ Original animation is released.
・ The alarm notification screen for the schedule switches to
the screen on which you set "
Even if you delete a still image attached to mail, only the still
image in the Data box is deleted. The still image attached to
mail is not deleted. However, if the image is large, the image
is deleted.

<Sort>
"By source" sorts the images in the following order:
① Pre-installed image
② Downloaded images or images retrieved from i-αppli, etc.
③ Still images shot by the camera
④ Images retrieved using infrared data exchange, etc.
⑤ Chara-den shots
