Selecting a Microphone When an
Earphone/Microphone is Connected
Default setting Earphone mic
You can select the microphone to use when an
earphone/microphone with switch (optional) is
connected from the microphone of the FOMA
terminal or the microphone of the earphone/
microphone.

When you connect earphones without a microphone,
select "Phone mic".

When "Select microphone" is set to "
microphone sensitivity becomes the same as the setting when
hands-free is set to ON. When an earphone/microphone is
connected, you do not need to talk with your mouth close to
the mouthpiece.

* If you are using DoCoMo, there is no need to
change this setting.
You can specify your FOMA service provider
(PLMN).
● As of August 2006, no service provider other than
DoCoMo can be selected.

Resetting the Function Settings
You can reset the FOMA terminal's function settings
to the defaults (Table 3) set at the time of purchase.
Do not mistake "Initialize" for "Reset".
If you perform "Initialize", you will lose all the data
you have stored. → P.323
● To restore the default settings for the i-mode
functions, use "Reset" in "i-mode settings". → P.196
● To restore the default settings for the mail functions,
use "Reset" in "Mail settings".→ P.238
