Front-Panel Key Reference
Peak Search
Places the marker on the next highest peak. The signal peak must

exceed the peak threshold value by the peak excursion value. If there is
no peak, the marker will not move. (Also see the
Peak Threshold
Key Access:
Moves the marker to the next peak to the right of the current marker.
Next Pk Right
The signal peak must exceed the peak threshold value by the peak
excursion value. If there is no peak to the right, the marker will not
move and the No Peak Found error message will appear on the
display. (Also see the
descriptions.)
Key Access:
Moves the marker to the next peak to the left of the current marker.
Next Pk Left
The signal peak must exceed the peak threshold value by the peak
excursion value. If there is no peak to the left, the marker will not move
and the No Peak Found error message will appear on the display. (Also

Key Access:
Moves the active marker to the minimum detected amplitude value.
Min Search
Key Access:
Finds and displays the frequency (or time, if in zero span) and
Pk-Pk Search
amplitude differences between the highest and lowest trace points.
Key Access:
When a marker is placed on a signal and

the marker will remain on the signal even if the signal frequency
On Off
changes, as long as the amplitude of the signal does not change by more
than 3 dB from one sweep to another.
If the signal is lost, an attempt will be made to find it again and
maintain the marker on the signal peak. If there are other signals on
screen near the same amplitude, one of them may be found instead.
Signals near 0 Hz cannot be maintained effectively, because they cannot
