DUAL CLUTCH TRANSMISSION (DCT) (CRF1000D)
3. No.2 Linear Solenoid Valve Input/ground Line
Open Circuit Inspection
Disconnect the PCM 33P (Blue) connector (page 4-
39).
Check for continuity between the wire harness side
4P (black) connector [1] and 33P (Blue) connector
[2].
TOOL:
Test probe
Connection: Blue – A8
Is the continuity normal?
YES
NO
4. No.2 Linear Solenoid Valve Input/ground Line
Short Circuit Inspection
Check for continuity between the wire harness side
4P (black) connector [1] and ground.
Connection: Blue – Ground
Is there continuity?
YES
NO
DTC 57-1 (GEARSHIFT MECHANISM
MALFUNCTION)
Refer to DTC 27-1 (page 13-23).
DTC 57-2 (GEAR POSITION
MALFUNCTION; JUMPS OUT OF
GEAR)
Refer to DTC 27-1 (page 13-23).
DTC 58-1 or DTC 59-1 (No.1 or No.2
CLUTCH DOES NOT DISENGAGE;
WHEN SHIFTING GEAR)
1. Clutch Condition Inspection
Remove the dual clutch assembly and inspect the
clutch for sticking (page 13-63).
Is the No.1 clutch stuck?
YES
NO

Gray – A9
– GO TO STEP 4.
– • Open circuit in the Blue wire
• Open circuit in the Gray wire
Gray – Ground
– • Short circuit in the Blue wire
• Short circuit in the Gray wire
– Replace the PCM with a known good one
(page 4-39) and recheck.
– Faulty clutch
– GO TO STEP 2.
