log event-host

Overview
Use this command to set up an external host to log AMF topology events through
Vista Manager. This command is run on the Master device.
Use the no variant of this command to disable log events through Vista Manager.
Syntax
log event-host [<ipv4-addr>|<ipv6-addr>] atmf-topology-event
no log event-host [<ipv4-addr>|<ipv6-addr>] atmf-topology-event

Log events are disabled by default.

Usage
Event hosts are set so syslog sends the messages out as they come.
NOTE
Example
To enable Node 1 to log event messages from host ipv6 address 192.0.2.31, use the
following commands:
Node1#
Node1(config)#
To disable Node 1 to log event messages from host ipv6 address 192.0.2.31, use the
following commands:
Node1#

Description
ipv4 address of the event host
ipv6 address of the event host
: There is a difference between log event and log host messages:
Log event messages are sent out as they come by syslog
Log host messages are set to wait for a number of messages (20) to send
them out together for traffic optimization.

no log event-host 192.0.2.31 atmf-topology-event
