Reassembling the Burner System

After you have completed maintenance procedures, reassemble the burner system as given below.
To reassemble the burner chamber
1. Before you reassemble the burner system, verify that the o-rings are in good condition. If an
o-ring appears damaged, replace it.
Lightly lubricate the surface of the o-rings. Too much Apiezon grease
CAUTION
on the o-rings will affect instrument performance.
2. Screw the two thumbscrews holding the burner chamber and plate to the burner assembly.
3. Place the flow spoiler inside the burner chamber.
4. Screw the four knurled screws holding the end cap to the burner chamber and carefully attach
the end cap.
5. Connect the drain tube and clamp.
6. Connect the auxiliary oxidant hose and the fuel hose to the burner end cap using the "double
wrench technique" method (one wrench to hold the nebulizer fitting and the other to turn the
compression fitting).
7. Carefully slide the nebulizer into the end cap and lock into place with the nebulizer clamp.
8. Place the burner o-ring into the burner chamber and screw on the retaining ring.
