Installing Lamps

Three versions of the AAnalyst 200 spectrometer are offered.
The first version is designed to operate with a single PerkinElmer Lumina hollow cathode lamp
(HCL).
The second version is designed to operate with a single PerkinElmer Lumina hollow cathode lamp
(HCL) or an electrodeless discharge lamp (EDL). The second version comes with a background
corrector deuterium lamp (D2).
The third version includes a lamp turret (mount) and is designed to operate with up to four
PerkinElmer Lumina hollow cathode lamps (HCLs) or with two electrodeless discharge lamps
(EDLs) and two PerkinElmer Lumina hollow cathode lamps (HCLs). The third version comes with a
background corrector deuterium lamp (D2).
Lamp compartment
The lamp compartment is located behind the door on the right-hand side at the front of the spectrometer.
The lamp turret (mount) version shows the assigned lamp positions numbered 1 through 4.
