Check and/or Remedy
Clean the nebulizer using the procedure
given in this User's Guide.
Reset lamp current.
Check for proper drainage.
Position the burner head so that it is
parallel to the light beam.
Adjust the horizontal, vertical, and
rotational position using the information
in this User's Guide.
Autozero the instrument while aspirating
a blank.
Check to make sure the characteristic
concentration is within 20% of the
specified value. If it is not, refer to the
information on characteristic
concentration above before performing
the following checks.
Try longer integration time.
