E-Box

All electronics are located in a single user-replaceable module called the E-Box. The operator can
just slide the module out from the instrument and replace it with a new one.
Using excessive force and not aligning the module on the track can damage
CAUTION
the E-Box.
Removing the E-Box
1. Extinguish the flame (if lit).
2. From the front of the instrument, swing open the compartment door and locate the E-Box.
3. Turn the power switch off and remove the AC power cord from the E-Box.
4. Disconnect power cord and all cables that are connected to the ports on the front of the E-
Box.
5. Unscrew the door using an Allen wrench.
6. Unscrew the flathead locking screw located below the printer connection port.
7. Use the E-Box handles to pull the module and gently slide it out on the track.
8. See the next section to replace the E-Box.
