Network Computer
Depending upon the network configuration, it may be a Static or a Dynamic network. It is best to
contact your System Administrator for network setup.
Network Setup
For Dynamic IP Network, do the following:
Select Obtain an IP address via DHCP option on the Network dialog.
Enter the Instrument ID in the entry field box.
NOTE: Each AAnalyst 200 instrument must have a unique ID. For example, AA200_1, 1 is the ID
number for AA200 instrument 1. The ID can range from 0-255.
For Static IP Network, do the following:
Select Specify an IP address option on the Network dialog.
Fill in the entries for IP Address, Subnet Mask, and Default Gateway.
Once the Network Setup is completed, continue on to Storage Location part of the Network
dialog. See steps 6-8 of the Stand Alone section for full instructions for setting up Storage
Location.
NOTE: Certain permissions and restrictions should be set forth by an IT System Administrator. Once the
shared drive or folder is on the network, you can secure it by setting and allowing certain
users/groups rights to the shared drive/folder.
