6.2.4 Installing Tubes Between Gas Tanks and Gas
Controller
The pressure regulator of your gas tank must have the following output size:
Push-in fitting for 6 mm O.D. rigid tubing or ¼ NPT female connector (using the
provided adapter).
1. Make sure that the pressure regulator or safety valve at the gas tank is closed.
2. If required, screw the adapter (see page 39, item 4) into the female connector of
the pressure regulator output on your gas tank.
3. Push TUBE A (6 mm O.D. rigid tubing) into the fitting of the adapter (or directly
into a corresponding fitting at your pressure regulator).
4. Connect the other end of TUBE A to the input connector of the supplied
pressure gauge. Be careful to follow the direction of the arrow on the rear of the
pressure gauge for the correct gas In-Out orientation (see figure below).
5. Use TUBE A to connect the gas output of the pressure gauge with the CO
Input push-in connector (see figure below) of the gas controller.
