6. Remove the defroster duct from the cowl upper pan-
el.

7. Remove the bolts and the tie–bar.
a. Tie bar.

8. Remove the bolts and the tie–bar center.
b. Tie bar center.

Installation Procedure
1. Install the tie–bar with the bolts.
2. Install the tie–bar center with the bolts.
3. Install the defroster duct to the cowl upper panel with
the screws.
