6. Install components as shown.
7. Secure pinion gear assembly to shaft with washer and new nut. Tighten nut to the point

a - Retainer Nut (Threaded End Toward Pinion Gear)
b - Oil Seal (Lip Of Seal Facing Pinion Gear)
c - O-ring (Position On Retainer Nut)
d - Thrust Washer (Taper Facing U-joints)
