CRASH ZONE SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
WARNING:
Handling the crash zone sensor improperly can accidentally deploy the air bags and pre-
tensioner seat belts, which may seriously injure you. Read the service warnings and
cautions before handling the crash zone sensor. (See
WARNINGS.) (See
1. Turn the ignition switch to the LOCK position.
2. Disconnect the negative battery cable and wait for 1 min or more.
3. Remove the engine cover. (See
4. Remove the air cleaner box. (See
5. Remove the air cleaner box tray. (See

6. Remove in the order indicated in the table.
