Bolt (Intermediate Shaft) Installation Note
1. Align the marks made during removal and install the steering shaft to the steering gear.
2. Tighten the joint bolts (lower and upper).
Tightening torque
17.6—26.5 N·m
{1.80—2.70 kgf·m, 13.0—19.5 ft·lbf}
3. After tightening the bolts, move the intermediate shaft joint up and down and verify that it is
securely installed.
Steering Wheel Installation Note
1. Set the wheels in the straight-ahead position, and install the steering wheel.
