Access OCS_SYS_ST PID for SAS
control module using the M-MDS.
Does the OCS_SYS_ST PID indicate
correctly for passenger seat
condition?
VERIFY PASSENGER SEAT BELT BUCKLE SIGNAL

Access PS_BUKL PID for SAS control
module using the M-MDS.
Does the PS_BUKL PID indicate
passenger seat belt buckle condition
correctly?
INSPECT PAD INDICATOR LIGHT

Ground information display connector
terminal I using a jumper wire.
Switch the ignition to on.
Dose the PAD indicator light
illuminate?
CONFIRM THAT MALFUNCTION SYSPMTOMS DO

NOT RECUR AFTER REPAIR
Switch the ignition to off.
Disconnect the negative battery cable
and wait for 1 min or more.
Connect all disconnected connectors.
Connect the negative battery cable.
Recheck the PAD indicator light
condition.
Does the PAD indicator operate
normally?
