Channel reset; all modal states go to their initial values.
<F3>
The NC program display is called in place of the MDI-Editor in
the same window. This is necessary if a subroutine is called as
the MDI block and the block sequence in the subroutine is to
be followed. Pressing <F3> key, you leave the block display
and return to the MDI-Editor.
<F4>
Activation (i.e. transfer to the NC) of the NC block focused in
the MDI-Editor. If several blocks are focused, this block is en‐
abled by NC blocks.
<F5>
The content of the MDI-Editor is deleted.
<F6>
Zoom; the MDI-Editor takes up the entire space between the
M-keys, F-keys and the header. This is especially important for
the BTV 16 if editing is to take place in existing MDI blocks
before processing again.
<F7>
The MDI-Editor loses the focus, which is placed on the next
window segment.
<F8>
An "Options" dialog is opened, see
for the MDI-Editor" on page
<F9>
The MDI-Editor loses the focus, the main F-key level of the NC
screen becomes active. The second main F-key level (<F8>
and then <F7>) can be used to set the focus back on the MDI-
Editor.
An "Options" dialog can be used to modify the behavior of the MDI-Editor.
