Esc cancels the value input and the current variable value is indicated in the
input field.
The "Enable: Fixing value" function can only be selected under the following
conditions:

The user must be authorized
●
There must be the respective prerequisites in the PLC program (function
blocks).
Selecting the function separates the screen in two partial windows.
The upper window displays the list as before.
The lower window displays an overview on all information of the selected var‐
iable. In input fields for the value input is enabled for editing.
In contrast to the "Enable: Write value" function, the value is fixed in the PLC
and cannot be overwritten by the PLC program.
The input format for the value can be selected freely and irrespective of the list
display.
The entered value is applied with OK and transferred to the PLC.
In the list, the fixed variable is stored in red background color. The number of
fixed variables is display in the list header.
