New definition
There are a number of additional positioning, selecting, blocking
and editing functions which are available only as keyboard short‐
cuts. Only the most important functions are explained here.
Use this function to define tolerances within the "basic hole/basic shaft" system
according to DIN 7154/5 and to transfer the computed results to the NC pro‐
gram.
In the dialog, use <F2 Help> "Shaft/hole" to differentiate between machining of
a hole and a shaft.
Input of the nominal dimension in mm in the range from 1 to 500 mm.
Fit
Calculate the potential result by selecting the desired fit tolerance with keys
<F3> to <F6>. The selection relates to the system "Shaft basis/hole basis" ac‐
cording to DIN 7154/5 T1.
Result
Press <F7 Select result > to see preselection options for "Nominal dimen‐
sion" and, as a sum of the nominal dimension and the tolerance, "Upper
allowance", "Lower allowance" and "Average allowance".
Exit the process and return to the NC editor using <F8 Cancel> or via <Esc>.
Apply
Press <F9 Apply> to copy the preselected result value into the last cursor po‐
sition space in the NC program.
Overview
Use this function to insert any number of previously defined blocks into the NC
program. NC block sequences can be created globally or channel-specifically.
If a channel is not specified in the processing NC program, the global NC block
sequences are displayed during the retrieval. If a channel has been specified
in the program, the global NC block sequences of this channel are displayed.
Press the F-key to switch between global and channel-specific NC block se‐
quences. These can also be used if they were generated for another channel.
Functions of the First Level of F-keys
Press <F2 New NC sequence > to define new block sequences. A dialog win‐
dow opens; enter the designation of the NC sequence into the upper space and
the respective content in the lower space. The content can comprise any num‐
ber of blocks. Language-dependent texts or comments within the designation
and/or the NC block content can also be represented by tokens. Instead of
specific text for the NC sequence content or NC sequence denomination, e.:
"Z333 (pallet change)" a language-dependent text can also be entered via to‐
ken number "%TNxxxx% e.g.: "Z333 (%TN7%)". Therefore, it is necessary to
specify the texts belonging to the token in the file ...\User\Config\MTXNCSe‐
quenceUser_yy.txt (yy=Language recognition, e.g.: EN for English). A maxi‐
mum of 10 tokens per line are permitted. The new sequence is always inserted
into the designations list before the position selected with <F6>. Confirm the
NC sequence with "OK". Exit the process with <Esc> or "Cancel".
Delete
With <F3 Delete NC sequence>, the selected sequence can be deleted. A
safety prompt with the selected NC sequence, including the designation and
