Editing Values

the Additive Value Entry
Switching to the editing mode of the selected cell is carried out with one of the
following actions:
Entering a value or a character using the keyboard
– or –
Press <Enter>.
– or –
Double-clicking on the cell
The editing mode is indicated by a flashing entry cursor in the respective cell.
An edited value can be applied with one of the following actions:
Press <Enter>.
– or –
Pressing the <Tab> key
– or –
Press the <Cursor> key.
– or –
Clicking on another cell with the mouse.
After the value has been transferred, the entered value is written directly to the
NC data table in the NC kernel.
If an incorrect value is entered, an error message is displayed in the
status line and the selected cell remains in the editing mode. The
entry can be cancelled or the value can be rewritten after correcting
the entry.
Edit mode can be cancelled at any time as follows:
Press <Esc>.
The original value is retained in the table.
During the editor/list configuration, it is possible to define the editability of a data
element depending on an additional process variable.
Example:
Conditional Editability
Depending on data element BQ2 - bit 0 (Tool active), the editing of selected
tool data can be prohibited.
The "Additive value entry" mode is used to enter correction values that are
added to the existing value.
"Additive value entry" can be activated/deactivated as follows:
Press the F-key <F6 Additive input> repeatedly until the desired mode is
active.
or set and reset in the menu Edit ▶ Additive
A checkmark on the F-key indicates that the "Additive value entry" mode is
active.
