Export Cycles / Import Cycles
Basics
Call Export Cycles / Import Cycles
By means of the functions "Export cycles" and "Import cycles", the cycle input
mask definitions including help texts, image files and the actual cycle from the
section of one control to another can be transferred.
The cycles can be distinguished in 3 sections:
Cycles created by DCC (Bosch) are located in the "IndraWorks\Config".
Cycle files created by the machine manufacturer (OEM) are located in the
project folder "BTVxy\ OEM-Data\Cycles" and the respective actual cycle
is located in the IndraWorks NC file system directory "root\usr\mtb\cy‐
cles".
Cycles created by the machine manufacturer (User) are located in the
project folder "BTVxy\ user\config\Cycles" and the respective actual cycle
is located in the IndraWorks NC file system directory "root\usr\user
\cycles".
To execute an export, the files belonging to the cycles have to be moved to
paths exclusively reserved for the cycle sections.
During export, all files from the current project available are saved on the hard
disk as zipped file with the extension "*.ncc".
During import, a corresponding (previously exported) file with the extension
"*.ncc" is unzipped to the current project.
Cycles created by DCC (Bosch) are installed and enabled by licenses. Thus,
these are not exported/imported.
In the programming operating area, the F-key <F8 NC program functions> is
pressed.
To keep the F-key menu, the cursor is to be positioned on an NC
program.
