Describing Functions
1. Main level
The functions in the first main level <F2 File>, <F3 Edit online>, <F4 Navi‐
gate> and <F8 More functions> are provided with a subordinated F-keypad in
which more subfunctions are grouped.
The current list is closed and opened in the complete list.
The complete list is the active variable list.
If new variables were defined or variable definitions were modified, this function
must be executed again.
An "Options" dialog is opened.
Here, the variable types to be displayed can be specified.
The settings in the "Options" only influence the complete list.
The selected variable types are displayed in the header.
The variable list is closed.
If a comment was edited or the list was changed in the "Edit on‐
line" mode, the dialog Save is opened.
2. Main level
All SD variables are updated and saved. The memory location is selected via
a "Save As" dialog. The file extension is "*.sds". This allows loading these saved
values back into the control system at a later point in time.
Load a saved SD variable file into the control. It is selected via an Opendialog.
If the column division was changed, this function can restore the original divi‐
sion.
File
An already edited variable list can be opened via an Opendialog. Thus, it be‐
comes the active variable list.
The current list is saved after the query about the current control values. The
variable editor remains open.
The current list including the current control values can be saved under a dif‐
ferent name. The variable list remains open. A Save Asdialog opens. It can be
used to navigate accordingly.
Edited comments are saved.
