Use the following table to identify which circuit breaker located on the FSP, is
associated with the power converter in the unit with a lit Converter Fail LED.

Determine if the associated circuit breaker is ON or OFF.
If the circuit breaker is
ON
OFF
Set the circuit breaker you have just identified to ON.
If the circuit breaker
turns OFF, and the Converter Fail LED is lit
remains ON, and the Converter Fail LED is lit
remains ON, and the Converter Fail LED is not lit
Set the circuit breaker to OFF.
Replace the converter by performing the appropriate procedure in "Star
Remote System card replacement procedures" in this manual. When you
have completed the procedure, return to this point.
Determine if there are bent or short-circuited pins on the backplane of the
shelf.
If there are
bent or short-circuited pins
no bent or short-circuited pins
Set the circuit breaker to OFF.
Straighten or replace bent or short-circuited pins. Then go to step 54.
